Properties: Very good properties in all temperatures from 253-700. A yield strength of less than 650 is the first superalloy in deformation. These alloys are resistant to fatigue, radiation and corrosion.

Performance and process requirements:

1. Because of Inconel718's high level of Niobium, the main factor that determines the degree to which niobium segregation occurs is the gold treatment.

2. For the prevention of excessive element separation, ingots made from steel must be no larger than 508mm

3. Good thermal performance is achieved by homogenized alloys. It is necessary to heat the ingot of steel at 1120 Celsius.

4. This is directly related to the average grain size.

5. You can weld the alloy by spot welding or electron beam welding (argon arc welding), seam weaving, spot welding, or any other method.

6. Different alloys and aging methods will have different material properties. It is possible to get the desired mechanical characteristics by long-term, low-diffusion Inconel718 aging.
