High Purity 3D Printing Inconel Alloy In625 Powder
Inconel 625 (also known as nickel superalloy) is a high performance alloy based on nickel. It's renowned for its strength, resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
About 3D printing Inconel Powder: Inconel 625is an high-performance superalloy based on nickel. is well-known for its high levels of strength and high temperature.
The alloy 625 contains a majority of nickel (58%), followed by iron, tantalum (cobalt), chromium, molybdenum and niobium. Manganese, silicon and aluminum are also present in trace amounts. The Nickel alloy 625 has the ability to withstand high temperatures, pressures and a range of pressures.
Inconel-625 melting point has a temperature of 1300degC. Inconel-625 thermal expansion coefficient has a value of 1.28x10-5/K (at -20degC). It can withstand extreme temperatures, from very low to very hot. The density of Alloy-625 is 8.4 g/cm3. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidation and reducton environments. Resistant against carbonation and oxygenation in static and circulating environments and to corrosion caused by chlorine-containing gases.
Inc625 alloys are resistant to corrosion in a variety of media. Its outstanding resistance to erosion, pitting and corrosion in chloride media makes it an ideal choice for marine and nuclear applications.
625 materialshows excellent corrosion resistance to a variety of media. It has excellent resistance to pitting and intergranular corrosion. Ni 625 exhibits good corrosion resistance against inorganic acid such as nitric, phosphoric and sulfuric acids. It is also resistant to alkali, organic acids and oxidation in reduction environments. Resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to chloride-ion reduction. It is virtually non-corrosive to industrial gases and seawater, and it has a high resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. No sensitivity during welding. Resistant to carbonation or oxidation when in static and circulating environments. Also resistant to gas corrosion containing chlorine.

What is
3D Printing Inconel 625
produced?
Inconel 625 production and composition depends on the specification required for the material.
The following treatments are possible for Inconel 625:
High solution annealing - Soak in 1095-1205 deg C for 1 hour, and then lower the temperature to ambient air or cooling medium. The alloy will have superior creep resistance.
Low solubility: This is the same as high solubility but at a temperature lower than 1040degC. The alloys are produced with good tensile and ductility strength.
Stress relief: This method involves soaking the product at 900degC up to 4hrs, followed by cooling it in the air. The final product exhibits excellent integrity and strength in low temperature environments.
Forging Inconel 625 calls for a furnace temperature range between 1010 degC to 1150degC. If the temperature is below this range, it may result in hardness of the material and require reheating.
3D Printing Inconel 625 Uses
:
Inconel® 625 applications
The chemical industry uses low carbon alloys 625 after softening-annealing. Due to its high strength and corrosion resistance, it can be used to make thinner structural components. 625 alloy is also able to withstand high mechanical stresses and be in contact with seawater.
Marine Application
Inconel 625 has a high corrosion resistance and is especially resistant to pitting and cracking. It's ideal for applications in high-salt subsea environments. The material can be used to make propellers for ships as well as mooring cables for fixing similar ships. It is also used in accessories and fixtures for submersibles, and for components of marine equipment.
Aerospace equipment
Inconel 625 has been used for many years in aircraft, including exhaust equipment, fuel pipes and heat exchangers.
Nuclear technology
Inconel 625 has a high strength, and is corrosion- and stress-resistant. It's a good component for nuclear reactors. Inconel's strength allows it to be used in nuclear systems that are typically exposed to temperatures exceeding 650degC.
Industrial processes
It is easy to produce and resists high temperatures and corrosion. This makes it a good component for the manufacture of equipment, such as heat exchangers and valves. Its excellent welding properties make it a good component for pipes that are used in manufacturing facilities.
Storage Condition for Inconel Alloy Powder In625:
Inconel powder In625 will be affected by dampness, which can affect its dispersion and use. Therefore, Inconel powder In625 should be packed in vacuum and kept in a cool, dry place. Inconel powder In625 must also not be exposed to stress.
Packing & Shipping of Inconel Alloy Powder In625:
The packing we use depends on the quantity of Inconel In625 powder.
Inconel Alloy In625 Powder Packing: Vacuum packaging, 100g,500g or 1kg/bag; 25kg/barrel. Or as per your request.
Inconel Alloy In625 Powder Shipping: Can be shipped by air, sea or express, as quickly as possible after payment receipt.
