Footprint travel guides can be found or ordered at all good bookstores and online directly from us via this web site.

2. Can I place an advance order for a book?
Yes, we accept advance orders for our books but it is only possible by telephone or by returning an order form by fax or mail. New title and editions are only placed on our website once they are published.

3. How do I know which is the most up-to-date edition of your titles?
When you select to view a book on our web site you will be able to see the edition number next to the picture of the book.

4. How can I find out if a new edition is to be released?
New editions always appear on the homepage as does news about forthcoming books.

5. If I order a book from you direct, how long will it take to reach me?
All book orders are processed and packed within 2 working days. In UK - 1st class post takes 1 to 2 working days and 2nd class takes 2 to 3 working days. It takes 3 to 5 working days to reach European addresses and 7 to 10 working days by airmail to reach other parts of the world.

Lots! The single country editions were introduced to allow Footprint writers to include far more information on the countries they know so much about.

We have a large team of writers and they have been selected in all sorts of ways! You are welcome to write in with your CV and mark it for the attention of the Office Manager. It helps if you include a sample of your travel writing and mention the areas that particularly interest you. If you have enjoyed using one of our guidebooks, please let us have your feedback and mention you would like to write for us. In this case, the author will decide if they are interested in contacting you personally for further discussion. All these requests and letters are noted and filed for future reference. We are often away travelling, but we will reply as soon as we can.
